In an age of increasing rejection of the Gospel and the law of God, yet the church must shine as a bright light in this world.
The Gospel Banner seeks to testify of the Gospel, especially to young people, and also to encourage those who know of the grace of the Gospel in their hearts. It is our desire and fervent prayer that the Lord would raise up for himself a generation that would be faithful to him, and would seek after Christ. |
DAILY BIBLE READING NOTES
Walking with God
We publish daily Bible reading notes sent out every morning by email. Each day, there is a chapter to read. Following this, there is an overview of the chapter, and then a text, and a devotional thought following. The desire is that Christ may be seen in all the Scriptures, and that we may know the Scriptures, but most importantly of all, that we may grow to know Christ himself.
Sign up below to receive these sent daily to your email inbox! In the coming days, God willing, we hope to publish these in a booklet which will be available soon; containing the readings from the first quarter of this year for 2025, for those who prefer a hard copy.
WHAT WE DO
Resources
Magazines
Our monthly magazines are designed for young people from age 12 and above. They are wholly centred on the Word of God.
|
Booklets
We publish some booklets periodically on topical themes and also of an expository nature, all firmly rooted in Scripture, designed to be practical.

Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, as when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!
OUR BELIEFS
Some Distinctives
Evangelical
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16).
Our labours are very much evangelical, and we seek to often proclaim the Gospel through our various outlets. We do not see the doctrine of election as a hindrance to this work, but rather a help; for God has appointed some to eternal life, and he has also deigned to use means to bring them in. |
Reformed
We hold to the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith (2nd London) as our statement of faith with regard to our doctrine.
We also stand whole-heartedly with the Affirmation 2010. We do, however, hold a high regard for the other like historic confessions which contain the sound Westminster Theology, namely the Westminster Confession of Faith 1647, and the Savoy Declaration of Faith and Order 1658. |
Separate
We believe in the Biblical doctrine of separation, wherein the Christian must be separate from the world, and the things of it, as they must obey the words of the Holy Scripture, and hold them in dearest regard above all else.
We believe this applies also to worship, which ought to be Biblical and most reverent. |
